I think that it is totally something that should have been introduced to the Enthusiast public a long time ago and yes even if you are not an Enthusiast. With the way technology has superseded itself in all facets of electronics, it is good to know that after spending $1500.00 or more (every time you upgrade) that you can still keep your current hardware and make it smooth sailing. I don't write codes but a long time ago I told my friend that it would be good to monitor all of my components by software instead of buying different fan controllers just to monitor the temps and speed of everything (4 fan controllers with 2 thermostats per controller) etc. It is a very good thing for computer builders and just the public to feel safe when it comes to extending the life of their product. If you’re on a fixed budget for parts that are supposed to have at least a 3 year warranty, you at least want to make sure that it can go the distance and then some. Thank You NVIDIA for finally taking charge and being the public’s advocate in system longevity.
