Try doing a open public posting Christian Blog in the US for a while! Did that for 4 very long years but quit 2 years ago. Was afraid to open boxed packages coming in the mail because of all the threats. They even threatened my kids at one time.

It's unfortunate all of this is happening. However, I've found the majority of these people will only ever sit behind their comfortable anonymity and never venture out from behind it. Taking action would mean losing their anonymous status. So they're cowards. Disable anonymous postings and/or enable IP tracking and don't let these people make you too afraid to live your life how you choose.

It's disgusting they clamor for freedom of speech but profess disdain for anyone who chooses anything more than a pessimistic and nihilistic view on life. You think the world's gonna end and everyone is out to get you/kill you/etc, fine, keep it to yourselves.

The world is ending and everyone is out to get me, but I know why. So why would someone threaten a tech blogging lady on the internet. And if your that technologically savvy why haven't you caught them. I know I could catch someone's ip easily in some sort of log. Why haven't you setup a death threat honeypot already? Why would you assume these people were all male? have you tried googling thier handle? Why would anyone threaten someone who has a positive view? what is your definition of a positive view? Why is it these bloggers with tech pull are the only ones being threatened? Is this all a stunt to introduce biometrics for internet access to silence free speech?

I get it you create the problem then Mr. Web 2.0 steps into fix it. Then the change you wanted is put into effect with no cyber-outcry. And I bet that change is Web 2.0 protocols. And under that protocol if I don't agree, you could threaten to ban me from the internet in someway. And I bet your positive view is Web 2.0 and were suppose to trust you that everything is going to be ok. And Supposedly there are disgruntled flamers out there who don't agree. Wow I'm perceptive. Whats the saying if you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to fear? And if your not with us, your against us? I'm not against Web 2.0 but let me ask what do you have to gain from it? this whole thing stinks. I'm truly sorry if these threats are real. But there are so many countermeasures nowadays to thwart this type of activity. And if its getting to you that much I would take a break.

It all comes down to how you were raised. We live in a morally declining society. These young punks are only becoming more disrespectful each blog. As evil becomes good there will only be more speed bumps and stop signs in parking lots.

Shameless publicity stunt!Apr 1st, 2007 - 11:17:40

Sure, let's curb the freedom of speech because some man-hater feels threatened... hey, why don't we ban cars because some treehuggers are afraid of coming down with cancer as well!

I sick of this crap. This b*tch is just seeking publicity by promoting her own cause du jour. She wanted to participate in public forums? Well, there's a price for everything and one of the prices for public exposure is dealing with WHATEVER comes about from such a direction. I'm sick of hussies like this trying to impose rules on the rest of us because she has finally realized there is a whole world just beyond her snotty nose.
